Fibre Optics Cabling

Every growing business knows the importance of being able to transmit data quickly, easily, and efficiently. One solution to meet these needs has to be with the use of fibre optic cabling. This option can offer you a highly increased level of security as well as safety for your data. With the ability to transmit signal (bandwidth) over longer distances, fibre optic is often the go-to method for businesses as well as personal users.

The fibre optic cables themselves are comprised of glass, which is less likely to suffer from damage when compared with the more traditional material used, copper wire.

Ensure that your company has a solid infrastructure, and get in touch with us to find out how we can install fibre optics in your workplace. At IDSL, we provide technology solutions for a number of businesses and companies based in and around London/Greater London.

Light Solutions

Office lights can become a CEO’s worst nightmare. Over long periods, dust and insects can easily settle in light spaces, creating an unpleasant environment. At IDSL, we can easily upgrade your lighting system or install new wiring if you need it. In addition to this, you can make use of our light setting adjustments, which can, of course, save you time, money, and energy in the long run.

Emergency Lighting

Every premise running under a commercial basis has the duty to follow the regulations set out by the UK Government. Often, one of these requirements is the installation of emergency lighting systems, in case of a power cut or failure. Some of these lights will function as a guide in the case of an emergency, meaning they are of the utmost importance for businesses and companies. These include EXIT lights and other safety features that can protect employees and shareholders alike. We can also install a test switch to make sure that your emergency lighting is fully functioning.

Cabling Maintanence

Ensuring that your cabling system is maintained, whether it be electrical or for data is of the utmost importance for both large and small businesses. Not only do we employ these methods to create a safe working space for your business, but we are aware that most companies will need to follow set regulations to comply with the UK Government. Give us a call today, so that we can discuss the best options for your business.

If you need a cable removal service, we can also help. For commercial holdings needing to vacate the premises, we can make the job quick and easy, giving you peace of mind.

Wireless Networking

Wireless Network installations can be a tricky affair, but they really don’t have to be. Even if you are building a network from the ground up, or maybe if you are looking to improve performance at the workplace, IDSL can help you out.

We have been providing wireless network installations and solutions for several businesses across Greater London for a while now. Our services are always set at an affordable price-point, and we can ensure that we’ll be keeping you informed right from the start.

Before we start any work, we will need to conduct a wireless site survey, which will ensure that we can provide you with an optimum service, catered to your business’s specific needs.

One of our expert engineers will take note of the areas of your premises that might need more coverage etc. In addition to this, we will determine the best locations for signal equipment and cabling, as well as ensure that you’ll receive 100% connectivity 24/7.

Lastly, we will make a thorough review regarding the building’s layout to uncover any potential sources of interference, as well as security risks.

Audio Visual Networking

Whilst there are several methods that you can employ to provide the same service as an audio visual cable wirelessly, your business may still need to make use of an AV installation.

AV can be a great method to ensure stability as well as reliability for your transmissions. In some cases, using this method may be of greater benefit than using wireless connections. This is especially true for non-stationary businesses and holdings.

At IDSL, we cater to a wide variety of businesses, and we would be more than happy to discuss how we can be of further assistance to you. Please don’t hesitate to give us a call for more information.

Data cabling

HDMI

HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) is possibly one of the most commonly installed cable types. It is used to transfer HD video and audio (in unison); which is a welcomed addition to the technology world. In the past, 2 or 3 cables needed to be used to achieve this result.

HD-SDI

HD SDI (High Definition Serial Digital Interface) is often chosen as a superior alternative to HDMI. The signals sent via this cable type can travel for longer distances. With the combination of a BNC connector, HDMI SDI cables can easily be locked and secured in place; allowing for fewer connection issues or disruptions.

DVI

DVI (Digital Visual Interface) is a cable that can successfully transfer HD (high definition) video signals. It can also be used in a similar way to VGA, and work with the use of analogue video signals. These cables usually contain a two-thread pin and are often found on both monitor and computer outputs. There are a range of DVI cables available, and if you would like to know more about this just feel free to get in touch with us!

VGA

VGA (Video Graphics Array) is a cable that is used to transfer analogue signals (video) to a range of different devices. Some of these include monitors, projectors, PCs, laptops, etc. With the use of a two-thread pin system, you can easily lock the cable (and connector) in position.
