Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst with experience in the ISP sector to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, interpreting, and analyzing data related to network performance, customer usage, service delivery, and operational efficiency. Your insights will help drive strategic decisions, improve service quality, and optimize business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze large datasets from network systems, CRM platforms, and customer usage logs.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as uptime, latency, bandwidth usage, and customer churn.
- Develop dashboards and visualizations to communicate trends and insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineering, customer service, and sales teams to identify data-driven improvements.
- Perform root cause analysis on service disruptions and recommend corrective actions.
- Support forecasting, capacity planning, and market analysis using historical data.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with data protection regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst in an ISP or telecom environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and platforms (e.g., Zabbix, SolarWinds, NetFlow).
- Understanding of ISP infrastructure, including ONTs, routers, and fiber networks.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working with infrastructure providers like CityFibre, OFNL, or Openreach.
- Knowledge of customer segmentation, usage patterns, and service tier analysis.
- Exposure to Python, R, or other statistical programming languages.
